Below is a list of our regularly scheduled Boulder Trail Runners group runs.

Running is why you joined, so come out and join us on a run!

 

Happy Hour Run - This is the original run that started it all.

When: Thursdays, 5:30pm, year-round, all weather

Where: Location varies, sent out to the email list a day or two in advance

Details: 60 minute trail run followed by Happy Hour at Sherpa's.  Sherpa's is located on the north side of Walnut St, just west of 9th.

Run Leaders: Karla Lipp, Peter Bakwin, Phil Mislinski, Buzz Burrell

Tuesday Tempo Run - Trail speedwork.  Fast!

When: Tuesdays, time varies to stay during daylight hours.  Typically 5:30pm in summer and moving back towards 4:00pm at the winter solstice.

Where: Location varies, sent out to the email list a day or two in advance.  Often on flat to gently rolling trails.

Details: 15 min warm-up together, 30 minutes of tempo at your own pace, 15 min cool-down together

Night Run - For the night owls!

When: Day varies, 8:30pm, year-round, all weather

Where: Location varies, sent out to the email list a day or two in advance

Details: Typically a 90 minute trail run but we occasionally do long versions, up to all night runs (6-8 hours).  The normal 90 minute run takes place every week, if we do a long version it is in addition to the normal run. Pace is generally casual and no one gets left behind on the night runs.

Wednesday 5:30am - For the ambitious early risers!

When: Wednesday, 5:30am, year-round, all weather

Where: Location varies, sent out to the email list a day or two in advance

Details: Typically a 90 minute trail run.  The pace can be sporting at times but we regroup at intersections.

Run Leaders: Ryan and Lori Cooper

Wednesday Trail Jog - A mellow intro to the Boulder Trail Runners.

When: Wednesday, 5:30pm, year-round, all weather

Where: Location varies, sent out to the email list a day or two in advance

Details: The Wednesday Trail Jog (WTJ) is a 60 minute casual and converstational run.  No one gets left behind.

Run Leaders: Art, Kelly

Sunday Long Run - 2-3 hour trail and/or dirt road runs during the winter months.

When: Sunday Mornings, usually 9am, winters only

Where: Location varies, sent out to the email list a day or two in advance

Details: Long run at your own pace.  Tends to get a good turnout of varying abilities.
