When creating a new account to use this forum, feel free to use your real name or a username of your choice.

You must register using the same email account you use on the BTR mailing list. Only BTR list members will be approved. We'll cross-check all forum applications against the mailing list email addresses to verify.

Welcome. The Boulder Trail Runners List is considered by some to be the highest quality open e-list they have seen. If someone is very rude they are removed, but that is rare - all subscribers are presumed to be polite and responsible adults!

Helpful tips:
1. The original purpose of this List was to notify people about runs.
2. Now it's also evolved into a great source of information.
3. It's not really a social forum; please come out on a run, meet people, and socialize in person.

Only Two Rules:
1. All posts must be running related - Do not discuss the List itself, other people on the List, or anything not about running. If you have any questions or comments about policies, send it directly to the Moderators (eddresses at end).
2. You may have any opinion you want, and may disagree with any opinion, but do not attack any other person - No flames, ever.

In Practice:
1. Everybody has an opinion, but what's really appreciated is good information.
2. If an online disagreement goes past 1 - 2 messages, take it private.
3. There are over 1,300 people on the List. Be courteous; they probably do not want to be hear two people arguing or an apartment for rent.

We all can practice Right Speech by asking ourselves this before posting:
1. Is it true?
2. Is it kind?
3. Is it necessary?

Any members trolling, flaming, spamming, etc may be banned from the Forums. Please keep it civil.
